Healthcare updates in Saint-Pierre and Toulon

In Saint-Pierre, the association ‘Et la vie continue’ has opened a new, larger location to provide non-medicalized support for cancer patients and their families. The facility features ‘La Bulle’, a dedicated space for listening and sharing designed to help individuals manage the emotional challenges, fears, and social changes associated with the disease outside of traditional clinical settings.

Meanwhile, in Toulon, the Clinique Saint-Michel (part of the Elsan group) has introduced walk-in access for CT scans. Patients with a medical prescription can now access imaging services without a prior appointment from Monday to Friday, between 8:00 and 18:00. This initiative aims to reduce waiting times and improve access to medical imaging in the Toulon area. Patients must bring a prescription, Vitale card, insurance certificate, and previous imaging results; recent blood tests are required if contrast agents are used.
