HealthWorld Conference to address healthcare innovation and investment in Greece
The 25th anniversary HealthWorld Conference, organized by the Greek-American Chamber of Commerce, is scheduled for September 14–15, 2026, in Vouliagmeni, Greece. Under the theme ‘Health is Wealth: Policy – Innovation – Impact’, the event will focus on the future of healthcare, specifically addressing how scientific and technological progress can reach patients effectively.
The conference aims to explore funding options, necessary reforms, and the sustainability of care to ensure healthcare investments benefit both society and the economy. Key topics include access to new therapies, medical technology innovation, demographic changes, healthy longevity, and the use of data to measure performance and outcomes.
The event will bring together representatives from government and European institutions, the scientific and academic communities, patients, the pharmaceutical and med-tech industries, and the healthcare services market. Scheduled speakers include Greek Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis and Deputy Health Minister Marios Themistocleous, alongside international contributors such as Asher Salmon from the Israeli Ministry of Health.
