Hearing health events and technology showcases announced in Japan

Hearing health initiatives and technological advancements are being highlighted in Japan through upcoming events and consultations.

In Tachikawa and Akishima, Audio Nova locations will host an ‘Autumn Hearing Aid Consultation’ from September 25 to October 31, 2026. Provided by Hearing Distributor Japan Co., Ltd., the event offers free hearing consultations, testing, and trial periods for hearing aids to help individuals and families assess hearing needs in daily environments.

Additionally, GN Hearing Japan will co-host a luncheon seminar at the 71st Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Auditory Medicine in Tokyo from October 14–16, 2026. The seminar, scheduled for October 16, will focus on the social implementation of audio information accessibility using Auracast technology. GN Hearing Japan will also exhibit ReSound hearing aids at the event, providing hands-on demonstrations of the technology.
