Heart of Midlothian defeat Dundee United 4-0 for first Vrancken win

Heart of Midlothian secured their first victory under head coach Wouter Vrancken with a 4-0 win against Dundee United at Tynecastle Park in the Scottish Premiership.

The victory follows a difficult start for Vrancken, who had lost his first four matches in charge, and a heavy 6-1 defeat against Benfica in the Europa League qualifiers. Hearts took an early lead in the 4th minute through a long-range strike from French midfielder Tom Renaud. Calvin Miller doubled the advantage in the 12th minute by converting a penalty after a VAR review confirmed a foul on Jamie McCart.

In the second half, Claudio Braga scored his first goal of the season and assisted Joshua McPake to complete the rout. The win provides a significant morale boost for the team ahead of their upcoming Europa League return leg against Benfica.
