Hearth Bakery opens new European-style patisserie in Denver
Hearth Bakery has expanded its operations in Denver with the opening of Hearth Patisserie, a European-style pastry shop located in the Highland neighborhood at 3621 W. 32nd Ave.
While Hearth’s existing locations in RiNo, Uptown, Highland, and Littleton focus on coffee, breads, and morning pastries, the new patisserie is designed for afternoon and evening desserts. The menu features French-inspired classics, including chouquettes, Paris-Brest, various tarts, gâteaux cakes, flans, and tiramisu.
The new concept is led by pastry chef Kevin McCormick, who has 20 years of experience with a career including roles at Per Se in New York City, L2O and Good Ambler in Chicago, and Frasca Food and Wine in Boulder. His recent Denver experience includes the pastry program at Baume Dessert Bar and serving as culinary director at Union Station.
