HeartLoop Games announces Poly Fighter Early Access launch

Montreal-based independent studio HeartLoop Games has announced that its debut title, Poly Fighter, will launch in Steam Early Access on October 13, 2026. The game is a single-player roguelike fighting game that combines one-on-one combat with roguelike progression mechanics.

In Poly Fighter, players navigate an underground league where they can steal moves from defeated opponents to create unique combat builds for each run. The gameplay focuses on adaptability, allowing players to climb ranks and face increasingly difficult rivals and secret bosses.

Ahead of the October launch, the game will be playable at PAX West from September 4 to 7. Additionally, a new online demo has been released for players worldwide to experience the title's retro-inspired action.
