Rangers held to 2-2 draw by Dundee, aiding Celtic

Rangers failed to move to the top of the Scottish Premiership after being held to a 2-2 draw by Dundee at Dens Park. Despite a seven-game winning streak, Derek McInnes’s side surrendered a second-half lead. Bradley Fink opened the scoring for Dundee, but Badredine Bouanani equalized for Rangers before Nico Raskin put the visitors ahead with a long-range strike. Dundee secured the draw in the 69th minute through Callum Jones, who capitalized on a defensive error.

The result provides a significant opportunity for league leaders Celtic. A victory for Celtic against Hearts on Sunday would allow them to extend their lead at the top of the table to four points.

Ahead of the high-stakes clash at Celtic Park, Hearts midfielder Oisin McEntee expressed confidence in his squad. Despite the memory of losing the title at the same venue last season, McEntee stated that the current team is focused on the present and aims to make an early statement in the title race.
