Hearts of Oak forms interim management committee

Accra Hearts of Oak has established a five-member Interim Management Committee (IMC) to oversee club operations following the resignation of Managing Director Julius Ben Emunah. The committee will manage the club's affairs until a permanent management team is appointed.

Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, a former Ghana Football Association chairman, will chair the IMC. The committee includes Samuel Wilfred Yaw Inkoom (Finance), Akwasi Agyemang (Operations), Hon Vincent Sowah Odotei (Administration), and Alhaji Yusif Abdulai (Mobilization).

Emunah’s resignation ends a seven-month tenure that began in February 2026. This leadership change follows a period of restructuring for the club, which recently appointed Bosnian coach Nebojsa Kapor following the departure of Mas-Ud Didi Dramani. The Board of Directors stated the interim arrangement is intended to ensure continuity and support the club’s pursuit of continental pre-eminence.
