Heartworm survival horror game launches on multiple consoles

The survival horror game Heartworm, developed by Vincent Adinolfi and published by DreadXP, has expanded its availability beyond PC to multiple consoles. The title is now available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Heartworm is a lo-fi psychological horror thriller that draws inspiration from late 1990s classics such as Resident Evil and Silent Hill. The game features retro-style visuals, fixed camera angles, and optional tank controls to emulate the aesthetic of the PS1 era. Players control Sam, a protagonist searching for her deceased grandfather, whose journey leads her to a haunted house in a mountainous region.

A unique gameplay mechanic involves using a camera as a weapon to defend against supernatural threats. The game offers approximately 4 to 6 hours of exploration and includes multiple endings. It is being distributed as a digital download.
