Heat Advisory Covers Wyoming, Nebraska and Idaho as Temperatures Near 100°F

The National Weather Service issued a Heat Advisory for the I‑25 corridor in southeast Wyoming and eastern Nebraska, with expected daytime highs of 95‑105°F in Wyoming and 100‑109°F in Nebraska. Overnight lows will remain warm, staying in the mid‑60s to low 70s.

A separate advisory was extended for lower elevations in Idaho, where temperatures are forecast to reach the mid‑to‑upper 90s and isolated readings of 100°F are possible in the Snake Plain and Magic Valley. A Red Flag Warning was also posted for fire‑prone areas of the Upper Snake River Plain and nearby national forest lands. Both advisories run through Saturday, and the persistent high‑pressure ridge will keep above‑normal heat in the region through the following week.
