Heated Rivalry announces physical media releases and second season production

The first season of the series ‘Heated Rivalry’ is receiving a physical media release through Alliance Home Entertainment. A standard DVD and Blu-ray edition will be available starting 20 October, featuring all six episodes in 1080p high definition with English, French, and Spanish audio and subtitle options. This release will include additional content such as deleted scenes and a blooper reel.

A limited 4K UHD Collector’s Edition is scheduled for release on 24 November. This edition will feature expanded bonus material, including behind-the-scenes featurettes titled ‘Shoot Your Shot’, interviews with producer Brendan Brady and author Rachel Reid, and introductions from series creator Jacob Tierney. The Collector’s Edition will also include collectible items such as art cards, a mini-poster, and custom retro packaging inspired by VHS cassettes.

Separately, production has commenced for the second season of ‘Heated Rivalry’. The upcoming season, which primarily adapts the sixth book in Rachel Reid’s ‘Game Changers’ novel series, is expected to air in Spring 2027. Returning cast members include Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams, with new additions Charlie Gillespie and Justice Smith joining the production.
