Heated Rivalry creator shares details on season 2

Creator Jacob Tierney has provided updates regarding the second season of the queer hockey series ‘Heated Rivalry’. The upcoming episodes, expected to stream next year, will continue the story of characters Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov.

Tierney noted that while the production maintains secrecy, much of the plot is based on the original book series by Rachel Reid. Specifically, the second season is expected to draw from the sixth book, ‘The Long Game’, which follows the protagonists as they navigate a committed relationship while managing their public personas. Fans looking for spoilers can find much of the upcoming narrative in the source material.
