Heated Rivalry hockey romance series to receive theatrical release

The hit hockey romance series ‘Heated Rivalry’ is scheduled for a limited theatrical run from November 6 to November 30. Organized by distributor Sphere Abacus, the rollout includes screenings across Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.

In the United States, Regal Cinemas will lead the distribution, bringing the series to over 650 theaters, including AMC and Cinemark locations. Fans can purchase tickets for three specific paired-episode screenings: episodes 1 and 2, episodes 3 and 4, or episodes 5 and 6. Some U.S. locations will also offer themed cocktails.

In Canada, Cineplex will host special screenings, including a full six-episode marathon on November 8. The series, created by Jacob Tierney and based on Rachel Reid’s ‘Game Changers’ book series, follows the relationship between hockey stars Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov. A second season is currently in production and is expected to arrive in 2027.
