Heating issues reported in Bydgoszcz apartment building

A resident of a tenement building at Dworcowa 88 in Bydgoszcz has reported that radiators in her apartment have not functioned since January, with indoor temperatures dropping as low as six degrees Celsius. While the resident was promised electric heaters, she expressed concerns regarding the potential cost of electricity bills.

Administracja Domów Miejskich (ADM), the building manager, stated that tiled stoves had to be disconnected from chimney flues due to faulty heating. ADM is currently seeking approval from the Bydgoszcz City Council to change the financing plan to cover the redesign of the gas installation in the apartment. Once approval is granted, a tender process will be initiated to select a contractor to complete the heating project.
