Heating voucher applications deadline set for August 31

The deadline for submitting applications for the heating voucher is August 31, 2026. This financial support program is designed for low-income households that utilize systemic heating and are affected by high energy costs.

To qualify for the maximum subsidy, which can reach up to 3,500 PLN per household, income must not exceed 3,272.69 PLN for single-person households or 2,454.52 PLN per person for multi-person households. A “złotówka za złotówka” (zloty for zloty) rule applies, meaning the voucher amount is reduced if income slightly exceeds these thresholds, though a minimum of 20 PLN remains available.

The subsidy amount is also determined by the net price of heat per gigajoule (GJ). Households may receive 1,000 PLN if the price is between 170 and 200 PLN/GJ, 2,000 PLN if between 200 and 230 PLN/GJ, and 3,500 PLN if the price exceeds 230 PLN/GJ.

Applications can be submitted in person at municipal offices, sent via mail, or completed online through platforms such as mObywatel, ePUAP, or gov.pl. Once submitted, municipalities have 90 days to process the applications and issue a decision.
