Several heavy metal festivals are scheduled in the border regions of Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands.

Desertfest Belgium will take place from October 16 to October 18 at the OM venue in Seraing, near Liege. The lineup includes the Liege-based stoner psych trio Apex Ten, who are expected to perform heavier material than their previous album, ‘Aashray’.

On October 17, the Nordhorn Deathfest will feature ten bands specializing in death metal. The event includes performers from Germany and the Netherlands, with the English band Benediction serving as the headliner. Due to health reasons, Benediction will feature Kam Lee as a temporary vocalist. The Dutch band Pentacle is also scheduled to perform as part of their farewell tour.
