Hyderabad Heavy Rain Causes Waterlogging and Traffic Disruptions

Heavy rain struck Hyderabad on Sunday evening, affecting areas such as LB Nagar, BN Reddy, Hayath Nagar, Kuntloor, Uppal, Ramanthapur and Secunderabad. The downpour led to water‑logging in low‑lying streets, causing severe inconvenience for motorists and slowing traffic flow.

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and HYDRAA teams were deployed to clear accumulated rainwater from the affected zones. Weather experts warned that the dense cloud cover could bring further rainfall to other parts of the city later in the night, urging residents to stay alert while traveling.
