Heavy traffic reported on major Iranian highways and northern routes
Heavy traffic congestion has been reported across several major transport routes in Iran. Significant delays are occurring on the Tehran-Karaj-Qazvin freeway, specifically between Modares Town to Mohammadshahr and Golshahr to Goldasht. On the Qazvin-Karaj-Tehran freeway, congestion is noted from Tavousieh to Kamalshahr and near the Ferdis Bridge.
In northern routes, heavy traffic is reported on the Chalus road from south to north between Zangoleh Bridge and Siahbisheh, and on the Haraz road near the Chalo junction. The Firuzkuh axis is also experiencing heavy traffic from south to north in the Gilavand and Sefid Bridge areas. Additionally, heavy traffic is present on the Rasht-Qazvin freeway and the Tehran-Pardis freeway.
Furthermore, the Taleghan-Hashtgerd route is currently blocked between Taleghan Town and the Fashand-Ardeheh junction. Authorities advise drivers to check the latest traffic conditions and follow regulations before starting their journeys. Weather conditions in the northern regions are currently reported as clear.
