Hebron Governor forms crisis committee following Israeli military operations

Hebron Governor Khalid Doudin chaired an emergency meeting with Palestinian officials, security agencies, and civil society representatives to address the consequences of ongoing Israeli military operations in the city. The meeting focused on coordinating responses for families forced to evacuate their homes in the Deir Baha and Al-Jalda areas.

A specialized committee has been established to monitor the situation of affected families, assess their needs, and coordinate relief efforts and emergency aid. The committee will also track field and humanitarian developments to provide necessary support.

During the meeting, Palestinian officials, including Deputy President Hussein al-Sheikh and Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa, emphasized that they are maintaining contact with international institutions to pressure for an end to the violations and to secure support for displaced families. Governor Doudin stated that the priority is protecting citizens and providing the means for them to remain in their homes amidst the humanitarian crisis.
