Hechizeros Band brings ‘El Sonidito’ to Fortnite

The Mexican cumbia group Hechizeros Band is bringing its viral 2009 hit, ‘El Sonidito’, to the video game Fortnite. The track will be available as a ‘Jam Track’ within the Fortnite Festival mode.

Users can acquire the song through the in-game item shop starting September 10 at 6:00 p.m. Mexico time. Once integrated, players can use the track to create personalized musical mixes by combining its loops with other songs or use the rhythm to accompany emotes and dances within the game's various experiences.

Originating from San Vicente, Nayarit, the band noted that this integration provides a new global stage for their music, allowing millions of players worldwide to engage with the iconic track.
