HEDNO to provide free LED bulbs to vulnerable households in remote areas

HEDNO (ΔΕΔΔΗΕ) is providing free high-efficiency LED bulb packages to vulnerable households in remote Greek regions. The initiative aims to support local communities, encourage rational energy use, and promote a sustainable energy transition.

The program is available from September 1, 2024, through December 31, 2026, for beneficiaries of the Social Utility Bill (KOT) residing in Western Macedonia, Eastern Macedonia, Thrace, and the North Aegean Islands.

Eligible residents can collect a package of six LED bulbs from local HEDNO stores between 08:00 and 14:00. To claim the package, individuals must present a police ID or other identification document along with a recent electricity bill.
