Hefame receives ONCE Solidarity Award for social inclusion

The cooperative Hefame has been honored with the 2026 Grupo Social ONCE Solidarity Award in the Murcia Region under the Company category. The recognition highlights the organization's commitment to social inclusion and creating job opportunities for vulnerable populations.

A primary driver for the award is the Hefame Logistics School (ELO), a program developed in partnership with the Red Cross. Since its inception in 2016 in Murcia, the program has expanded to the cooperative's other warehouses across Spain. The initiative combines theoretical and practical training to prepare unemployed individuals for the logistics sector.

To date, the program has trained approximately 600 unemployed people, with more than 80% of participants successfully joining the Hefame workforce. Hefame President Enrique Ayuso accepted the award, emphasizing the importance of collaborating with social entities to drive projects with a tangible impact on people's lives.
