Heidelberg advances Tiny House pilot project in Kirchheim
Construction is progressing on the Tiny Wohnpark pilot project in the Kirchheim district of Heidelberg. Nineteen high-quality, fully equipped residential modules have already been delivered and installed via crane on the municipal site.
The project aims to provide 36 residential units in total, including two-room apartments ranging from 26 to 33 square meters and a 41-square-meter corner bungalow. These modules are designed to offer high living comfort within a small footprint.
Following the delivery of more modules in November, residents are scheduled to move into the tiny houses starting in January 2027. Outdoor areas, including community gardens, a roof terrace, and shared spaces, are expected to be completed in the spring of that year.
