Rhein-Neckar cities seek cooperation for congress tourism

In the Rhein-Neckar Metropolitan Region, leaders from Heidelberg and Mannheim are discussing the importance of regional cooperation to strengthen their position as a competitive destination for congresses and tourism.

Mathias Schiemer of Heidelberg Marketing GmbH and Kultur & Kongress GmbH, alongside Bastian Fiedler of mannheim:congress GmbH, suggest that while both cities are strong individually, working together will increase their competitiveness against major international rivals like Barcelona, Copenhagen, and Vienna.
