Heidelberg West Hawks qualify for NFNL finals after 32 years

The Heidelberg West Hawks have secured their first NFNL finals appearance since 1987. The qualification was finalized following a victory in which supporters monitored the results of the Old Eltham Collegians versus Reservoir match to ensure the Hawks' progression.

Additionally, the Northern Football Netball League (NFNL) will host the third week of the Senior Women’s Finals Series this Sunday at La Trobe University. The scheduled matches include:

- Division 1 Preliminary Final: Eltham 1 vs Montmorency 1 - Melbourne Cleaning Division 2 Preliminary Final: Ivanhoe vs Darebin 1 - Division 3 Preliminary Final: Macleod vs Eltham 2

Entry to the first three weeks of the women’s finals series is free. The matches will take place at Tony Sheehan Oval, with some games available via live stream on Sportscast Australia.
