Heidi Ho secures Shark Tank investment for vegan cheese

Chef Heidi Lovig, founder of the vegan cheese company Heidi Ho, secured a $125,000 investment from Lori Greiner on the television program Shark Tank. In exchange for the funding, Greiner received 30% equity in the company to assist with packaging and distribution.

Lovig, a Cordon Bleu-trained chef, developed the plant-based cheese products after identifying a lack of vegan options during her time as a consultant. Following her appearance on the show, the company experienced significant growth, reporting sales of approximately $750,000 within four months. The products are currently sold in Whole Foods Markets.
