Heidi Klum partners with Intersnack for new potato chip range

Heidi Klum visited an Intersnack potato‑chip factory in Wevelingshoven as part of a promotional campaign. The model helped select three new chip flavours – "Brathähnchen Style", "Glazed Ham Style" and "Hot Honey Style" – with the first variety reaching supermarket shelves in August and the others appearing as limited‑time offers through October. QR codes on the packaging allow shoppers to vote for their favourite, and the winning flavour will become a permanent product in early 2027.

Separately, German food‑safety experts remind consumers that sprouted potatoes can contain the toxic compound solanine. Small sprouts can be cut away along with any green skin, but potatoes with long sprouts (five centimetres or more) should be discarded. Solanine levels become hazardous only after consuming large quantities, but children are advised to be especially cautious. Proper storage in a cool, dark place helps prevent sprouting and solanine formation.
