Heidi Klum to guest judge America's Got Talent

Heidi Klum is set to return to the judging panel of ‘America’s Got Talent’ for a special guest appearance on September 8. She will fill in for Simon Cowell, who is currently recovering from a necessary back surgery.

Klum, a former regular judge on the series, will participate in a three-hour spectacular episode on NBC. This extended broadcast will combine the quarterfinal performances and the live results into a single night to determine which 16 acts will continue competing for the million-dollar prize.

Cowell’s absence follows a routine but non-postponable medical procedure. He will be joined on the panel by existing judges Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, and Mel B. Klum previously served as a judge on eleven seasons of the show and its various spin-offs.
