Heidi Klum’s HeidiFest moves to RTL with limited TV broadcast
Heidi Klum’s Oktoberfest-themed show, ‘HeidiFest’, is moving from ProSieben to RTL for its 2026 edition. The event, held at the Munich Hofbräuhaus on September 17, will feature a limited broadcast on free-to-air television.
Due to scheduled UEFA Europa League coverage on RTL, the linear TV broadcast of ‘HeidiFest’ will last only approximately 25 minutes, starting at 20:15. To view the full program, including musical performances and celebrity guests, viewers must switch to the RTL+ streaming service. RTL describes this as a “deliberate interplay” between its linear channel and its streaming platform.
In addition to the main event, RTL+ will offer a live countdown and red carpet coverage. Leni Klum is also noted for her involvement in the Oktoberfest season, having designed a minimalist dirndl collection with the brand Sportalm Kitzbühel.
