Heilbronn to host 10th Hertensteiner Discussions in September 2026
The Europa-Union Heilbronn, in collaboration with the Mannheim and Stuttgart district associations, has announced the 10th Hertensteiner Discussions, to be held on September 19, 2026, in Heilbronn, Germany.
The event will feature eight discussion groups and a Federalist Forum. The forum, moderated by EUD Secretary General Christian Moos, will focus on social resilience as a defense against hybrid attacks. Other topics include economy, innovation, security, democratic memory culture, and EU finances.
The gathering also marks the 80th anniversary of the Hertenstein Program, a foundational document for the Europa-Union and the Union of European Federalists (UEF). Notable participants include EUD President Prof. Dr. Andrea Wechsler, Consul General Rafał Wolski, and State Parliament President Thomas Strobl.
