Heimathaus Borghorst showcases fine Danish porcelain collection

The Heimathaus Borghorst features a collection of fine Danish porcelain figurines, primarily produced by the renowned manufacturers Royal Copenhagen and Bing & Grøndahl (B&G).

The collection consists of handcrafted Scandinavian porcelain characterized by underglaze painting in soft tones of blue, white, gray, and pastel. The motifs depict rural and childhood scenes, such as children with animals or figures engaged in farming activities. Many pieces were designed by notable sculptors, including Christian Thomsen, Ingeborg Plockross-Irminger, and Ada Bonfils.
