Heineken reports Q3 growth driven by strong Asian demand

Heineken has outperformed analyst expectations for the third quarter, reporting organic volume growth of 4.8% and net revenue growth of 4.6%. This performance was largely driven by robust demand in the Asia-Pacific region, particularly in Vietnam, China, and India, where volumes rose significantly.

The company also saw growth in its premium segment, which increased by 11.5%, and noted dynamic performance in low or zero-alcohol products. While the Americas returned to growth, the brewer noted that beer consumption remains under pressure in Europe and the United States due to changing consumer habits.

This marks the first quarterly update under new CEO Rafael Oliveira, who succeeded Dolf van den Brink earlier this year. Despite the positive results, Oliveira emphasized the need for sharper execution and a stronger performance culture to ensure consistent growth. Heineken maintained its full-year outlook, forecasting organic operating profit growth of 2% to 6%.
