Singer Heino auctions 1,200 personal items and memorabilia
German folk singer Heino is auctioning more than 1,200 personal items from his life and his marriage to Hannelore, who passed away in 2023. The collection includes a wide variety of items such as 30 kilograms of gold and silver jewelry, musical instruments, watches, furniture, and vehicles including his Bentley and Hannelore’s blue BMW convertible.
Notable items include a custom-made Venetian bed that was kept in the couple’s former Florida villa for 20 years, and the black leather boots Heino wore during his 2013 New Year's Eve performance at the Brandenburg Gate. He is also auctioning the keyboard used to rehearse nearly all of his major hits.
The items were transported to an auction house in Klagenfurt, Austria, for cataloging and valuation. The online auction is scheduled to take place from November 18 to November 20. Heino stated that he chose to auction the items so they could be enjoyed by others rather than gathering dust.
