Heino discusses musical focus and inheritance plans

German Schlager singer Heino, 87, has discussed the reasons behind his enduring popularity among young male audiences and his unconventional inheritance plans.

Regarding his fanbase, Heino noted that he has historically focused on songs for men rather than writing love songs for a female audience. He attributes his current success with younger crowds, particularly at venues like Mallorca’s Bierkönig, to this musical direction. He stated, “I have taken care of the male audience and that is working in my favor today.”

On the topic of his estate, Heino revealed that his manager, Helmut Werner, is designated to inherit his wealth. This decision follows the death of his wife, Hannelore, and aligns with her final wish for Werner to care for Heino. Heino has already transferred his Kitzbühel home to Werner, describing him and his family as his current family, noting that without them, he would likely be alone or in a nursing home.
