Heinz-Hilpert-Theater in Lünen Stages 'Beyond the Lines' on Religious Conflict

The Heinz-Hilpert-Theater in Lünen will present the studio series production “Beyond the Lines” on 29 September at 19:30. The play, created by Jürgen Larys and Susanne Hocke with input from religious experts and community members, explores contemporary religious tensions, including antisemitism, anti‑Muslim racism and the impact of the Israel‑Palestine conflict. It also references the Halle and Hanau attacks.

The performance is aimed at audiences aged 15 and older, offers 95 seats (not wheelchair‑accessible), and is followed by a discussion with the actors. Tickets cost €18, with a €9 reduced price.

Beyond the Lines” is part of the artENSEMBLE THEATER’s studio series, intended to provoke dialogue about war, violence, exclusion and the possibility of a space beyond these divisions.
