Heinz Pfau to host 50th anniversary reunion for Castrop-Rauxel fitness studio

Heinz Pfau, the 76-year-old former operator of Pfau's Fitness-Studio, is organizing a 50th-anniversary reunion for former clients. The event is scheduled for September 19 at his estate, ‘Peacock's Manor’, in the Becklem district of Castrop-Rauxel.

Pfau opened the first fitness studio in Castrop-Rauxel in 1976 in a former bakery. Originally focused on bodybuilding and strength training, the business eventually expanded to multiple locations, including Münsterstraße, Westring, and a second site in Dortmund. Pfau also operated a women's fitness studio alongside his wife. The upcoming gathering aims to provide former members an opportunity to reminisce about their time at the studio.
