Heinz Pool Buleje sentenced to 23 years for sexual exploitation in Colombia
Heinz Pool Buleje, a Peruvian-American citizen, has been sentenced to 23 years in prison for the commercial sexual exploitation of a minor. The conviction stems from a 2017 incident in Copacabana, Antioquia, where authorities raided a farm and discovered Buleje with 16 minors.
According to Medellín Mayor Federico Gutiérrez, the perpetrator used parties, money, drugs, and alcohol to lure and exploit the victims. During the 2017 raid, Buleje was found in the company of a 15-year-old girl. The Mayor noted that since 2024, 14 foreign nationals have been convicted of sexual offenses committed in the city.
