Heinz Strunk longlisted for German Book Prize

Author Heinz Strunk has been named to the longlist for the German Book Prize for his novel ‘Memories of Heidelberg’. This marks his third nomination for the prestigious award, following his previous works ‘Es ist immer so schön mit dir’ and ‘Ein Sommer in Niendorf’. His current novel has also reached the number one spot on the Spiegel bestseller list.

The longlist features 20 authors, including 17 first-time nominees and six debut novelists. The winner of the prize will be announced on October 5 in Frankfurt. Other notable nominees mentioned include Lukas Rietzschel and Svenja Leiber.
