Heirs Holdings Portfolio Companies Win International Awards

Heirs Holdings, a pan‑African investment group, announced that three of its portfolio firms received major international accolades. Transcorp Group and the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) were listed among The Africa Report’s 2026 500 Business Champions, an annual ranking of Africa’s leading firms. Technology firm Redtech was named in the Payments category of CNBC and Statista’s 2026 World’s Top Fintech Companies, selected from more than 3,500 fintechs worldwide and one of only 11 African entrants in the top‑500 list.

The recognitions underscore Heirs Holdings’ strategy of building category‑leading businesses across sectors and its contribution to Africa’s economic development. Earlier in the year, other Heirs Holdings subsidiaries – Heirs Life Assurance, Heirs General Insurance and Redtech – were highlighted in the Financial Times’ 2026 Africa’s Fastest‑Growing Companies list.
