Heiwado to open Alpla Town Takaoka shopping complex in November

Heiwado is set to open a new multi-tenant commercial facility, ‘Alpla Town Takaoka’, in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, in late November 2026. The open-mall style shopping center will serve as a community hub, featuring the ‘Alpla Foods Market Takaoka’ supermarket as its core anchor.

The facility will host seven specialized stores, including MUJI, Loft, and Seria. Notably, the Loft location will be the company’s first roadside-style suburban store, offering approximately 15,700 varieties of stationery, health, and lifestyle goods across a single floor of roughly 624 square meters.

Located approximately 800 meters from Takaoka Yabunami Station and 2.3 kilometers from the Takaoka Interchange, the site covers a total area of approximately 25,929 square meters and includes parking for 285 vehicles. This expansion follows Heiwado’s recent move to strengthen its presence in the Hokuriku region, including a scheduled opening in Toyama City in September.
