Helem Nejse Talent Academy opens in Sarajevo

The third edition of the Helem Nejse Talent Academy has officially opened in Sarajevo at the European House of Culture and National Minorities. The program hosts 40 participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia, and North Macedonia.

Over three days, students participate in three specialized tracks: Applied Music Production, Graphic Design and Animation, and Creative Production. The academy features more than 20 instructors from the region and internationally, including Grammy-nominated engineer Damjan Blažun and New York-based producer Lord Finesse.

The music production curriculum covers film, gaming, television, and electronic music, while the design track focuses on typography, poster design, and character animation. The creative production track utilizes case studies ranging from theater productions to the organization of the Sarajevo Film Festival. The event concludes on September 20 with a certificate ceremony and a public performance by Lord Finesse.
