Helena Alicja Ziółkowska, social activist, passes away

Helena Alicja Ziółkowska, a long-time social activist in the Pruszków and Piastów regions, has passed away. Born in 1956, she dedicated much of her life to the Society of Friends of Children (Towarzystwo Przyjaciół Dzieci).

As a coordinator and president of the local branch, she developed educational and support networks that provided after-school care, tutoring, and nutritional assistance to children. Her work focused on preventing social exclusion and supporting entire families. For her contributions, she received several honors, including the Gold Cross of Merit awarded by President Aleksander Kwaśniewski in 2005.
