Helene Fischer to Open 2026 Winter Season at Schladming-Dachstein Ski-Opening

German singer Helene Fischer will headline the Ski‑Opening in the Austrian resort of Schladming‑Dachstein on 11 December 2026, officially opening the winter season. The concert will take place in the Planai target stadium and feature only Fischer’s band, offering an intimate, “personal, intensive and close” experience without the usual stadium‑technology. Ticket sales begin on 3 August via oeticket.com, with around 16 000 seats allocated and the possibility of additional dates if demand is strong.

The event is organized by the Leutgeb Entertainment Group together with the tourism region Schladming‑Dachstein and the four‑mountain ski area. Local officials, including Landeshauptmann Mario Kunasek and tourism chairman Andreas Keinprecht, praised the booking, calling it a “herzenswunsch” (heart’s wish) and “phenomenal”. Fischer, who concluded a 360° stadium tour earlier in summer 2026 that attracted roughly 750 000 fans across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands, announced the appearance in a video message: “Now it’s finally official – I’m coming to Austria on 11 December to open the winter with you.” The ski‑opening has previously hosted international stars such as Robbie Williams, Bryan Adams, Sting and the Backstreet Boys, and is expected to draw a large visitor influx to the region.
