Helene Fischer sets new German airplay chart record
Helene Fischer has set a new record in the German Conservative Pop Airplay charts. Her single ‘Heute Nacht’, which served as the official MagentaTV song for the 2026 Football World Cup, has held the number one position for twelve consecutive weeks. This achievement surpasses the previous record of eleven weeks held by Maite Kelly with ‘Der Morgen danach’, as well as Fischer’s own previous record of ten weeks with ‘Atemlos durch die Nacht’.
In addition to her chart success, Fischer recently completed her ‘360° Stadium Tour’, performing 15 shows across four countries for approximately 750,000 attendees. Her next single, ‘An meiner Seite’, is scheduled for release on September 4, preceding her upcoming album.
Separately, entertainer Florian Silbereisen announced that Fischer will appear at the 32nd Golden Henne awards in Leipzig on September 4. Silbereisen, who will co-host the event with Esther Sedlaczek, also shared personal insights regarding his stage fright and preparation rituals during a recent appearance on the talk show ‘Riverboat’.
