Helene Fischer to Open 2026 Ski Season in Schladming, Austria

German singer Helene Fischer will headline the opening of the 2026 winter sports season in the Austrian resort of Schladming‑Dachstein. The concert is scheduled for 11 December 2026 at the Planai Stadium and will feature Fischer performing with her band in a more intimate setting than her usual stadium tours.

Ticket sales begin in early August, with pre‑sales starting on 3 August via Eventim and Oeticket and a second launch on 4 August at 10 a.m. Packages include concert admission, accommodation and ski‑pass options. Fischer announced the appearance on Instagram, confirming her return to Austria after a successful 360° stadium tour that attracted roughly 750 000 spectators.

The event follows a tradition of high‑profile ski‑openings in Schladming, which has hosted artists such as Robbie Williams, Bryan Adams and the Backstreet Boys. Organiser Klaus Leutgeb highlighted the close connection between the performer and the audience as a key draw for visitors.
