Helene Fischer's costume zipper breaks during Vienna tour show
On 12 July 2026, German schlager star Helene Fischer performed the 12th concert of her 360° Stadion Tour at the Ernst‑Happel‑Stadion in Vienna before around 57,500 spectators. During the song “Fehlerfrei” the zipper on her turquoise glitter bodysuit ripped, leaving her back exposed. Fischer laughed, addressed the audience – “Ja, ihr habt wahrscheinlich schon gemerkt… Ich trage in Wien rückenfrei, denn der Reißverschluss ist kaputtgegangen” – and continued the performance.
The mishap was captured on the multiple cameras filming the show for a forthcoming concert film, which the artist said will preserve the moment “for eternity”. She later reassured fans that her wardrobe team would replace the costume, and she proceeded with the scheduled show. Fischer’s tour continues with a concert in Zurich on 14 July and will conclude in Munich’s Allianz Arena on 17 July.
The event was noted for its large production scale, involving dozens of production trucks and a 288‑tonne stage, but the wardrobe failure remained a minor, humorous incident that did not affect the live recording.
