Helfie AI partners with Kenya’s Homa Bay County for health screening pilot

Helfie AI has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Homa Bay County Ministry of Health in Kenya to launch a large-scale health screening and monitoring pilot program.

The initiative aims to target 100,000 of the most vulnerable residents across five sub-counties in Homa Bay. The program focuses on the early detection and monitoring of tuberculosis (TB) and hypertension. Utilizing Helfie’s AI-powered platform, the screening process will be conducted entirely through users' mobile devices, intended to bring diagnostic capabilities directly to households and reduce the need for travel to distant clinics.

The project is the result of nine months of collaborative planning between Helfie AI, the county health ministry, and local population health teams.
