Helios St. Elisabeth-Krankenhaus celebrates 60th anniversary

Helios St. Elisabeth-Krankenhaus in Bad Kissingen held a festive program to mark its 60th anniversary at its current location. The event brought together local politicians, healthcare representatives, long-term partners, and employees to honor the hospital's history and discuss its future.

The hospital's history dates back to 1950 at Theaterplatz, with the current facility being inaugurated on July 1, 1966. Since 2014, the institution has been part of the Helios group. Currently, more than 550 employees provide care for approximately 25,000 patients annually.

During her speech, Clinic Manager Claudia Holland-Jopp emphasized the hospital's deep connection to the region and expressed gratitude to the generations of employees who built local trust. She also addressed upcoming challenges, highlighting the need for reliable framework conditions and regional cooperation to ensure high-quality medical care in the future.
