Hell Clock RPG based on the Canudos War launches on Android

The action RPG Hell Clock, developed by the Brazilian studio Rogue Snail, has launched on Android via the Google Play Store. The game features a dark fantasy and roguelite twist on the historical Canudos War, which took place in 19th-century Brazil.

Players take on the role of Pajeú, a warrior seeking the soul of his mentor, Antônio Conselheiro, within a supernatural version of Canudos. The gameplay incorporates a strict time limit for each run, forcing players to balance the depth of their exploration against the risk of insurmountable challenges. The title includes a three-act story campaign and an endgame Ascension system. Unlike many mobile titles, it is available for a single upfront purchase rather than a free-to-play model. An iOS release date has not yet been announced.
