Hell Let Loose Vietnam: Guide to NVA tunnels and nodes
In the game Hell Let Loose Vietnam, NVA (North Vietnamese Army) players can utilize tunnels as a fast-travel mechanic to move across the battlefield. These tunnels function by allowing players to activate a location and then use the tactical map to travel to another connected tunnel or garrison, rather than physically walking through the structure.
Construction of these tunnels is restricted to the NVA faction and can be performed by infantry officers, including Commanders, Squad Leaders, and Recon Spotters. To become operational, a tunnel must be linked to another tunnel or a garrison within a specific distance. While Squad Leaders and Recon Spotters can connect tunnels, only the Commander has the authority to delete or create new connections.
Key technical details for tunnel usage include a maximum limit of 12 to 15 tunnels depending on player abilities, a five-minute construction cooldown, and a requirement that connected points be within a specific range. Tunnels can be placed in friendly, neutral, or unlocked enemy territories, but they remain vulnerable to destruction by enemy players.
